My first ever post.

Firstly, before I start I have a couple of huge thank you's to make. To Tania Chomicz who has been working with me on my Web Site on numerous occasions and still ongoin www.helpahedgehog.org and to Pauhla Whittaker who has designed an amazing car sticker for Help a Hedgehog Hospital and car magnets and a t-shirt for when I do my fundraising. Without you both I think I may have run out of steam. Thank you again.

It has been a busy couple of months caring for the hedgehogs, at one point I was upto 15 in the hospital and I was starting to panic......there is sometimes not enough hours in a day, but thankfully I have been able to get some upto release weight and I am now left with 8 and 1 really
poorly one, that I am currently praying will pull through. All the hedgehogs in my care are Autumn Juveniles and all of them would have died if they had tried to hibernate. I am afraid our Spikey Friends are getting really confused by our weather and are not sure when they
should be breeding. I know the weather is really getting me down. So mild and wet, I like the
cold crisp days with beautiful sunshine. What is going on. Please all keep an eye out for small
spikey creatures - they often seem to have a sense that they need our help .

Thank you to Randwick Cubs for an amazing donation of £100 after an evening talk. also to Tetbury Scouts who brought a tin of dog food for our Spikey friends and who also raised £25. And not forgetting Whiteshill Cubs. It was great to meet you all. Without your support I couldn't carry on - I do appreciate your help so much. I must also thank Kerry, Nick ,Jackie, Alexandria and Kate. It has really humbled me since starting my Hedgehog Rescue Mission what lovely people there are out there.

On Saturday I attended an Amazing Course on Hedgehog Basic First Aid by the founder of Vale Wildlidre Hospital in Tewkesbury Caroline Gould. I have learnt so much and I hope to be able
to save more of our Spikey Friends. On that note, I really need to go and syringe feed my poorly
hoglet. Please keep your fingers crossed.
